Pahang, the largest state in Peninsular
Malaysia, is the home to TAMAN NEGARA ,
the oldest enchanting rain forest in the
world. The state is blessed with a beautiful
coastline, which offers endless tropical

Taman Negara is a 130 million year old wonder
and is also the largest premier rainforest
in Malaysia.
It covers an area of approximately 4,300
square kilometers of tropical rain forest
is believe to be more than 130 million years
old. There are many adventurous things you
can do here like ; jungle trekking, mountain
climbing, bird watching, go rapid shooting
, cave exploration or try the longest canopy
walk in the world in Taman Negara.

To Get There

Tourist Departing From Kuala Lumpur
1)
By Daily shuttle bus from Kuala Lumpur To
Kuala Tembeling Jetty
The shuttle bus departs from China Town
area and Crowne Plaza Hotel KL.
Bus stops at Jerantut town before noon to
allow passengers to take their lunch. Then
the bus will continue the journey to Kuala
Tembeling Jetty.
Bus Daily Departure Time: 8.00 am (Register
at 7.30 am at in Hotel Mandarin Pacific
or Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur Hotel
Cost: RM40- 50 per person one way

By Boat from Kuala Tembeling Jetty to Kuala
Tahan in Taman Negara
Shuttle river buses depart from Jerantut
to Kuala Tembeling Jetty 10km away. From
here it is a
scenic 3 hour (approximately) boat ride
up the Tembeling River to the Park's headquarters
at
Kuala Tahan.
Boat Daily Departure Times: 9 am / 2 pm
except Fridays when only 1 boat leaves at
2:45pm
Cost: RM25 per person one way
