Itinerary for 2D1N (Ex - Lahad Datu) Day 1 9.00am - Meet at our Borneo Nature Tour office for registration and short briefing 9.30am - Depart for 2 1/2 hours overland journey on a logging gravel road to Borneo Rainforest Lodge 12.00pm - Arrive at Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Our exotic "Welcome Drink" will be served while the Front office personnel with brief you on the facilities available at the Lodge. 12.30pm - Lunch at the Lodge 2.00pm - Introduction to the forest - Trek to the Kadazandusun burial site - "coffin Cliff" then proceed with trekking to the "View Point" for a bird's eye view of the area. Descend to the "Jacuzzi Pool" for a refreshing dip. 7.00pm - Dinner at the Lodge 8.30pm - Briefing and slide presentation at the Conference Room 9.00pm - "Night Drive" in an open-air jeep in search of nocturnal animals Day 2 7.00am - Breakfast at the Lodge 8.00am - Guided jungle walk to "Canopy Walkway" to experience the sounds of the birds and return through the "Nature Trail" 9.00am - Optional : Water tubing for an hour in the Danum River or Trekking along the Segama River 12.00pm - Lunch at the Lodge 1.30pm - Check out. Depart for a 2 1/2 hours journey back to Lahad Datu Town
